Q: Where is MotorKote made and manufactured?

A: MotorKote is made in the USA.

 

Q: How does MotorKote® Hyper Lubricant® work?

A: MotorKote® Hyper Lubricant® bonds to metal, creating an extra surface layer of lubrication, adding protection from metal-to-metal contact. This reduces friction and heat which is a major cause of engine wear. MotorKote® Hyper Lubricant® is different than traditional additives such as Lucas® Heavy Duty Oil Stabilizer™, which treats the oil not the engine. Horsepower usually increases after using MotorKote® Hyper Lubricant®. Fuel economy often increases, according to testimonials users may see increases of 5-15%.

 

Q: How do I use MotorKote® Hyper Lubricant®?

A: The traditional usage amount of MotorKote® Hyper Lubricant® is 2 ounces per quart of motor oil, in any size engine. MotorKote® Hyper Lubricant® should be used in all gasoline and diesel engines. Pour using the directions below.

Engine Oil Crankcase

Amount of Hyper Lubricant: 2 ounces per quart of oil

Frequency: Every other oil change or more often for best fuel economy (due to change in the manufactures extended oil change intervals.)

Transmission or Differentials

Amount of Hyper Lubricant: 1 ounce per quart of fluid. Do NOT use in Continuously Variable Transmissions (CVTs).

Frequency: If fluid levels are low or at time of fluid flush 

Power Steering

Amount of Hyper Lubricant: 1-2 ounces total

Frequency: As needed or if noisy

2 Cycle Engines

Amount of Hyper Lubricant: 1 ounce for every 2.5 Gallons of Fuel/ 2 Cycle mix.  Note You still need to use your 2-cycle oil

Please note: MotorKote Fuel Optimizer works exceptionally in all 2 cycle engines including lawn mowers, chainsaws, snow blowers, weed eaters, marine equipment and generators.
 

Q: When can I use MotorKote® Hyper Lubricant®?

A: The best time to use MotorKote® Hyper Lubricant® is with your next oil change, but you can add anytime. In new vehicles - we recommend waiting to install Motorkote® Hyper Lubricant® until a period past the new car warranty period. This is because many OEM’s have made the warranty process difficult when the consumer uses an additive.

 

Q: Why is MotorKote® Hyper Lubricant® more expensive than some other additives?

A: MotorKote® Hyper Lubricant® is a very concentrated premium lubricant. It also doesn’t need to be added as often and it really works.

 

Q: Is MotorKote® Hyper Lubricant® safe for wet clutch applications such as motorcycles?

A: You can use a very small amount no more than 1 oz per quart of oil.  You do want some friction, so adding too much MotorKote® Hyper Lubricant® could make your wet clutch slip.

 

Q: Is MotorKote® Hyper Lubricant® safe to use with Full Synthetic Oil? 

A: MotorKote works with all oil types (synthetic /conventional / blends), weights, and viscosity, in both gas and diesel engines.
