Can you use MotorKote in Lawn & Garden equipment?

Lawnmowers

 

  1. Add 2 ounces per quart of MotorKote Hyper Lubricant to the Oil: It will start easier, run cooler, reduce fuel consumption, reduce wear. Check out Project Farm's test here.
  2. Wipe down all the metal parts with MotorKote Hyper Lubricant lightly and let soak in overnight: Your mower will repel moisture and prevent rusting.
  3. Clean the bottom deck of old grass and paint with MotorKote. You can also use the MotorKote Spray; however, painting is a more substantial application and will last longer. Do not remove excess just let it soak in: Grass will not stick or collect under the deck.
  4. Remove the blade and sharpen. Soak in MotorKote overnight. Let dry for a second night: Your blade will stay sharp all season. You will be cutting the grass, not tearing it. Your lawn will also look better.
  5. Add Fuel Optimizer to the fuel: Only a couple of drops, 1-2 ounces, will do. Removes moisture, runs cooler, improves mileage.
  6. MotorKote Spray, the wheel bearings, the gas linkage, the drive linkage:

All will be protected from moisture, perform smoother, reduce wear and stress on mechanical parts.

  1. Wipe the pull cord with MotorKote: The cable will be easier to pull and will last longer.

 

Power trimmers

 

  1. 2-cycle engines: add 1 ounce for every 2.5 Gallons of Fuel / 2-Cycle mix. *Note You still need to use your 2-cycle oil. Engines start easier, run quieter with longer run times. It reduces wear and stress on mechanical parts.
  2. 4-cycle side oil engines: add 2 ounces per quart of MotorKote Hyper Lubricant to the oil: It will start easier, run cooler, reduce fuel consumption, reduce wear.
  3. Wipe the pull cord with MotorKote: The cord will be easier to pull and will last longer.
  4. Lightly spray MotorKote on the cord cutting mechanism: it will protect from moisture, reduce clogging with clippings, work easier.

 

Chainsaws

 

    1. Replace bar oil with 100% MotorKote Hyper Lubricant
    2. Remove chain, soak in MotorKote overnight, let dry a second night: *The chain will perform better, last longer. You can also paint the chain without removing it.
    3. Wipe the pull cord with MotorKote: The cord will be easier to pull and will last longer.
    4. Apply MotorKote Spray right where you are cutting: It will make it easier to cut with less effort and stress on you and the equipment.

    Hand tools

     

    1. Saws & Axes: Spray MotorKote Hyper Lubricant on the blade: Cutting will be easier by a lot! Keep the blade coated as you cut. Apply MotorKote Spray right where you are cutting: It will make it easier to cut with less effort.
    2. Shovel, hoe, rake, small hand tools: Paint or soak in MotorKote: Your hand tools will not collect dirt, mud grass or leaves, work smoother, resist moisture, and not rust.

     

    Outdoor mechanicals/other

     

    1. Metal hinges, latches, locks: Spray with MotorKote: All will perform better, resist rusting.
    2. Sliding doors and garage doors: spray or paint rails with MotorKote: They will perform easier and last longer: WARNING: Tell others of your applications, they could unknowingly open doors with too much force.
    3. Metal/Aluminum outdoor seating: After cleaning wipe or spray the metal/Aluminum areas with MotorKote: They will resist oxidation and rusting.
    4. Hammocks/ swings: Wipe chains and metal base parts with MotorKote. They will perform better, resist rusting.
    5. Metal fire pit: Clean the metal, paint with MotorKote inside and out. Let soak in: The bowl will resist rusting, and ashes can be quickly emptied.

     

    General

     

    • Any metal parts outside can be treated with MotorKote Hyper Lubricant to protect against harsh elements. It is water resistant and will not wash away easily. It prevents rusting and keeps bolts, and other attaching mechanisms form seizing.
